This social and affectionate pet was initially developed to be a hypoallergenic guide dog. As with most mixed breeds, the Labradoodle’s appearance, shape, temperament, and size all vary greatly depending on the Labrador Retriever and Poodle parents who made it. For example, one could have the non-shedding, curly coat of a Poodle and the laid-back demeanor of a Labrador Retriever.
