Athletic and strong, the Ocicat is a surprisingly heavy cat for its fairly medium size. They have spots all over, with the pattern forming a bullseye on the sides. There is an M-shape between their ears and above their eyes, giving them a striking look. They stalk rather than walk, giving off “big cat energy.” While Ocicats might appear wild, they are purely domestic and were in fact an accidental breeding between an Abyssinian cat and a Siamese cat. The name Ocicat is inspired by Ocelot, paying homage to the cat’s spots.
